What a wonderful feeling is to have a man who you started talking to in August turn out to be a gentleman. Ssshhh don’t tell him I am writing this, because he needs to keep that hard “man” exterior. Every other weekend my boyfriend and I shut down our computers and hop in the vehicle to take a drive, this has become a tradition for us to unplug and simply enjoy each other’s company.  You see, one day we both simply wanted a change in scenery and hopped in the car to take a drive; he loves to drive and I prefer to ride, the perfect match! One thing I have worked hard to do in my life is to stay true to myself. I know what I need and what I don’t need, and I have to work to keep that. You see, sometimes I get lost among the desire of having others be pleased, having others be proud of me; you know how that can go. After a while of realizing that I am working to please others, find gratification from others, and not my own self, I step out of that path and start fighting for what I need.
