The first hole I had pierced in my ears was around age six. That hole become two more added later in life, one got ripped out and hurt badly so that one is no longer “active” and there is a third hole on one ear that was done wrong so I don’t use that one either. I basically have two spots on both ears I can wear earrings — as shown below. The issue is that no matter the type of earring I try to wear, my ears turn bright red and get all infected in the earring piercing hole…. I don’t know why. BUT I do know I wish I could wear earrings more often…

I have two holes in each ear and my cartilage pierced in my left ear as well. I don’t wear earrings or change things up nearly as often as I probably should but I always wear at least studs and just rotate them between the holes.

Mine get red and swollen with a lot of earrings too. Every once in awhile I come across a pair that doesn’t do that, and then I’m a happy gal. :)

My ears started getting itchy whenever I wear earrings once I had my son. I wear them now for special occasions only
