Announcing a newly published book, written by my daughter and me. This new book is, as paraphrased by my father, “a cross between self help and something else” to give you what our something else was for this book, in our own words, “Positive Girl – The Power of Your Thoughts” is meant to be a brief but eye opening method to assist young girls in learning to love who they are, to understand that they are in control of their thoughts and emotions, no one else can make them feel bad.

Ki and I worked extremely hard at getting Positive Girl – The Power of Your Thoughts written just right. This was not meant to be a true step by step, boring self help book.  As the adult who was sharing a parenting and personal technique to love her own self and teach her daughter who to do the same, I didn’t want this book to be written in a way where we were telling other kids how to live their life. Our approach was to share a positive way of thinking and life that works for Ki and I so that we can share some of our wisdom with the world to assist in positively helping other girls who struggle with peer pressure or negative family households.

The result we came to was Positive Girl – The Power of Your Thoughts and the response from those who have read this, are simply amazing; everyone who has read this really feels that it’s a great step forward and a positive start in the series we plan to make this book out to be. A box set some day in the future where a tween or teen girl or their parents may purchase it to assist them in maintaining a love for who they are through all of the challenges this world brings!

One step at a time we say and so we start with this first book and see where we end up from here. Hopefully Positive Girl – The Power of Your Thoughts can assist your daughter, granddaughter or own self to love who they are within and learn to have high self confidence to handle anything the world may toss at them!

As part of our BIG announcement I wanted to host a giveaway so that one lucky person who enters to win can receive a SIGNED copy of Positive Girl – The Power of Your Thoughts from both Ki and I.  We will custom sign a message along with our signature of your choice (up to 3 lines of written text) to allow you to share this book with a special girl in your life!

I would like to win this book for my daughter, Sarah. She is 13 and I feel like there are so many “demands” on our children to look and act a certain way, but I enforce that God created us all and He doesn’t make mistakes!
