This is the final post about Shaws and MyMixx, so I want to share my overall experience and opinion about MyMixx via my Shaws app on my Android smartphone. At first I was nervous, because in all reality I rarely shop downtown at Shaws, their prices are good for some things then other things not so much. Last week I introduced you to a new feature with Shaws app called MyMixx my Savings, well this week I want to share how easy it is to clip coupons and use them upon checkout at your local Shaws store. I used my first coupon and wasn’t quite sure how it worked, my local Shaws cashier went up and beyond to engage in a conversation with me: Me: “how does this MyMixx coupons thing work?” Cashier: “just click to clip the coupon, and as long as it is in your MyMixx account on the Shaws app the register will automatically deduct the coupon, if you purchase the item.” Me: “Wow, that is really neat. I recently downloaded the Shaws App to my Android device as a means to test out the app and see what MyMixx was all about. To my amazement the Shaws app has a lot of fun options available, the one I wish to feature this week is the Recipe portion of the app. Browse through a wide range of recipe ideas that are found within the app and then add the ingredients to your shopping list for ease of shopping without having to write down that list. I honestly prefer having a shopping list on my phone when I go to the store because I dread writing grocery lists, so you see clicking “add to shopping list” is so much more efficient to me.
