It is Summer time, not Winter time, in New Hampshire and I absolutely refuse to drive a 2 mile round trip for lunch, dinner or errand running that doesn’t involve some massive grocery shopping or similar. Since the move in July, we live about a mile from downtown, center of our town. I forewarned the children when we moved, I would not be driving as much because it is unnecessary to drive when we live that close to downtown. Plus, we have some weight to lose, all of us, it is time to be aware of our family heart health history and be proactive in ensuring we make better habits now, to avoid possible major issues later. I love a nice fresh start in life, maybe a little more than most people. When the kids and I had plans to move to a new home, I knew I would be setting forth new routines. The boys would be way better about brushing their teeth and life would be slightly different. I would get back to being that Mama who shuts down electronics and we get our butts outside being active. There would be dinners at the dining room table and life would get back to the way it was, before things got lost. Two days is what it took to get things moved from one home to the other. This last Sunday the kids and I packed up to go meet with the landlords to discuss some things and then we headed off to my Dad and Step Mama’s home for a family Sunday. The kids and I arrived to my Dad’s to find water guns …. That girl probably had way too much fun using that water gun against her little brothers .. shown here she is ready to aim and fire that water at little K-man. The kids used the outdoor hose to fill the water guns, which led to this situation … “I Love water in my face” said the little boy, he is always soaking his body with some form of water, the child sweats like crazy. I hope he gets a hair cut soon …
