About Dial Coconut Water Body Wash

Dial Coconut Water Body Wash is the first of it’s kinda to contain coconut water. The scent is not overbearing and the feel of this Dial body wash is that of clean, smooth and fresh. Coconut water is found in young, green coconuts and know to be rich in antioxidants and electrolytes that provided replenishing.  Leaves your skin feeling fresh, healthier and smooth.

My Experiences & Thoughts About Dial Coconut Water Body Wash

I have used various body wash options in the past with the loofah here at home because I much prefer a body wash over the bar soap, while other hydrating body wash options are on the market this is the one I can afford the most, so going forward I can see myself actually buying it. The simple fact that I absolutely love coconut was a plus for this particular family body wash option and it’s so gentle that my middle child who has issues with some soaps has had zero issues allowing me to use this Dial Body Wash on him during bath time.

I leave my shower feeling more fresh, hydrated and think that you should check out this body wash for your nourishing soap options. Dial has a wide range of skin care items, so be sure to check out Dial on Facebook to learn more about what they have to offer you and your family.

Searching for new Kid Friendly Craft Ideas

The three kids and I absolutely love doing various crafts. Some of the crafts or things we have ended up doing together are; latch hook, crotchet, baking, friendship bracelets and collages. Honestly that list is small computed to what we do as a family together. Due to the fact that all three kids plus me enjoy crafting, I am constantly on the look out for things we can make or do together.

Most recently my Gram started making goat’s milk soap and that got me thinking, while the process sounds like it takes a long time for this type of soap, I knew maybe there is a kind of soap my kids and I can make from home. That is when I happened upon an article that tells me how to make fruit soap;  http://wikitalks.com/2013/01/how-to-make-fruit-soap-2/.

While reviewing the how to make fruit soap article, I realized that making your own fruit soap would really be easy to do. There are supplies required that I don’t have on hand, sure, but there is nothing hard about getting a supply of the products needed on hand and working to create pretty bars of soap that the kids can use during bath and shower time. There is something amazing about that sense of pride you see on someone’s face after they have hand crafted an item that they can fully use as part of their every day life, that is always a proud Mama moment for me.

I fully enjoy creating and finding new ways for us to use our creative minds and imagination. After all, I am a big kid too, who fully enjoys hands-on projects.

What types of crafts/projects do you do with your family? Ever make soap?

Giddy Up Scientific Explorer Spa Kit FUN Review

Miss Ki and I had an hour to ourselves one night and decided to try out the Giddy Up Scientific Explorer Spa Kit that Team Mom sent us. Little did this Mama know that this was going to truly be a fun learning experience, because science is the girls favorite subject!

We started off with some materials to make our own Shimmer Soap; found within the kit was soap base, dye & fragrance, glitter, measuring cup, soap mold and a stirrer. What we had to find around the house to complete our project; microwave, oven mitts and paper towel. To start we had to take the soap base out of the package and determine if it was a solid, liquid or gas.

After the soap base was melted we then had to ask ourselves whether the soap base was a solid still or some other form. Of course it was now a liquid after we nuked it in the microwave. The next steps were to mix in the dye & fragrance as well as add the glitter. All of which were liquids and solids, again another part of our learning fun!

What a sticky mess!! We both ended up with soap base on our fingers, silly girls must play with stuff all the time! It was sticky and of course HOT!

After we mixed all of the ingredients together we had to pour the mixture into the mold and wait 20 minutes for the soap to harden.

We had some fun for 20 minutes, basically it involved me listening to Miss Ki chat it up and then we had our finished product …

Okay so we had a blast quite obviously. Learning while having fun THAT my friends is what makes life the best!
