Blending Families – The Talk About How we Will Parent Together

On July 1st my boyfriend and I combined families into a new home, while his kids live with their mother for residential purposes they are with us three weekends a month so we still needed to be sure to address how we would parent five children together; his and mine. A New Chapter in my Life

My children have two different Dad’s, my first born and only daughter has one father that I was never married to and have not been in a relationship with since she was about 4 months old {she is now almost 11 years old}. Do You Babysit your Kids Stuffed Animals?

Well I do. My four year old son happily has his Mom or his Dad “babysit” various toys of his, there is Baby Junior the pet dinosaur that I do believe is being watched by his Dad over at his Dad’s place. A Parent Shall Forever Fight for What’s Best

What’s best for each child is different from family to family, child to child, but one thing for sure I know is that each parent fights for what they feel is best for their child. For me, it’s all about trying to figure out how to properly medicate my six year old son. From age two we have fought and fought to figure out why this child was pretty much born angry.
