Bob the Builder LIVE Rocks

Our family went to The Beacon Theatre last weekend, Saturday to be exact, to watch Bob the Builder LIVE Spuds Big Mess and it was fantastic! We drove 5 hours to NYC after winning four family tickets to Bob the Builder LIVE Spuds Big Mess over at Resourceful Mommy’s blog. We took our suburban as there were five of us; hubs, the three children and myself. Baby K was under 1 year of age so he didn’t need a ticket since he could sit on Daddy’s lap through the show. We Are Going to NYC

Bob the Builder via last.fm Thanks to Amy over at Resourceful Mommy who hosted a giveaway for a Four Pack of Family tickets, we are going to NYC to see Bob the Builder live on stage! I am really excited as I have never been to NYC. We will be seeing Bob The Builder live on stage with all his friends at the Beacon Theatre. Bob The Builder is famous for teaching children in a fun, creative way to care for their environment and use teamwork. They have a catchy theme song that runs through my head for hours and I can often hear my dear AJ singing “Bob the Builder…can we fix it … Bob The Builder .. yes we can” daily! Happy Memorial Day Weekend

This is a long weekend event, and I am extremely excited. My husband, @daddyjustin, normally works 6 days a week and over 50 hours a week. He has taken a vacation day today and will have Monday off in observance of Memorial Day! I have not seen my husband this much in I don’t know how long. I am super excited!! I would like to take the kids to my aunt Robin’s gravestone as we used to go two times a year. As a single mother I took my oldest to my aunt’s grave in October for her birthday remembrance and in May for memorial day. Shopping with Two Young BOYS

One thing that frustrates me, I never go shopping ALONE. I often come home forgetting half of what I needed  because I was too busy chasing a 2 year old around the store and playing games of in the cart & out of the cart. My grocery trip with two boys goes something like this; first get Baby K into the cart seat, then explain to AJ that he is to WALK WITH ME, or else he will be put in the back of the cart – and YES I can and WILL make room for him in the back of the cart!
