  4. I am not a fan of haunyed houses. I was traumatized by one growing up. Lol. I do need to get over it

  5. I love going to haunted houses but my kids don’t. So we just pass it by whenever we see one. Anyway, I love your tips! I’ll definitely try to convince them this coming Halloween.

  7. I absolutely hate haunted houses! I get so tense that my muscles hurt for hours afterwards! Definitely not something you’ll find me doing anytime soon!

  8. I ADORE haunted houses. My oldest (17) refuses to go into them, but my 12 year old is a pro. I’m glad I have someone to go with this fall since she loves them as much as I do.

  9. I never liked haunted houses. It is not my kind of fun. My sons enjoy it though. They think there’s something so macho about surviving a haunted house adventure. Thanks for the tips though. I’m sharing it with my friends who are into this kind of activity.

  16. I have only been to one haunted house in my life. It was mostly fun, but also a little scary. I am not above going back to one, but I prefer to spend Halloween sitting at home, watching scary movies.

  17. It seems the haunted houses get scarier each year. I think the most fun one I entered had artificial fog and eerie music. Bits of lights inside caught the imagination and let everyone make their own monster in their mind. This is a fun blog post with excellent advice about enjoying the moment and laughing about it later.

  18. My second oldest son has the most beautiful set of teeth. A man in a haunted house jumped out and hit him in the mouth on accident and broke one of his front teeth in half. THEN they didn’t want to pay to fix it, saying he came in like that, but fortunately he had the tooth in his hand!! Smart, cuz I’d have dropped it, I’m sure. They said no manager was on site and they were going to call the police if we didn’t leave. We were like, fine, please do. Never mind, we’ll call. As soon as an officer arrived, a manager miraculously appeared and they paid for the tooth. It jaded my view of haunted houses, lol. Silly maybe, to write them all of, but I guess that’s how that sometimes goes.
