Jernel – Journaling App for FaceBook, Twitter and LinkedIn

Today I am sharing  an app that was Mom’s Choice Award Winner in 2012 and is a great way to document your life, parenting days, pregnancy and much more using your iPhone or iPad.

Pick your title to remember an event or feeling. Add comments, pictures and/or video to the entry. Then you can share on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. This would be a great app to document your pregnancy, if my expectant sister had an iPad or iPhone I would totally recommend this as a cute way to document her feelings and thoughts as she goes along in the journey of her first pregnancy.

Whatever you want to share for a story or document in a journal format, Jernel is there for you. Making journal keeping so much easier for our technologically driven world.  Jernel is the best idea for documenting our day to day lives as well as important events and allowing us to share with the world if we see fit.

About Jernel

Jernel is a social, mobile application that is a fun, easy way for users to keep a journal and share it with their friends. Instead of writing detailed entries about what a user is doing they simply select graphic tiles as a way to record events in their lives. Jernel has tile collections for a variety of life events, health, hobbies, sports and business topics. What makes Jernel powerful is that it can expose previously hidden connections for consumers that can add real benefits and insights from each entry they create.

About the Founder

Ray Tenenbaum, Founder of Jernel, was most recently at Adify, a premium vertical ad network platform company (now part of Cox Communications). At Adify, Ray was VP/General Manager of their North American business unit. Prior to Adify, Ray was at Intuit where he held senior marketing positions that helped bring a variety of new offerings to market for the Small Business Tax and the QuickBooks Retail & OEM channel sales groups. Before Intuit, he was founder and CEO of BrandCities, an enterprise marketing management software company focused on “Maximizing Marketers Success”. In 2000, BrandCities was acquired by Emmperative, a company funded by Procter & Gamble and Accenture, and Ray became VP Product Marketing and Development of the combined entities. Earlier in his career, Ray advised consumer packaged goods clients as a member of the Consumer Products practice at Booz Allen & Hamilton. He has worked for Procter & Gamble at their Tide and Bounce manufacturing plant and was also a Brand Manager at Kraft Canada. Ray holds a Chemical Engineering degree from McGill University in Montreal, and received an MBA with High Distinction from the University of Michigan Business School.
