This is the final post about Shaws and MyMixx, so I want to share my overall experience and opinion about MyMixx via my Shaws app on my Android smartphone. At first I was nervous, because in all reality I rarely shop downtown at Shaws, their prices are good for some things then other things not so much. I live in a small town and there are few places to choose from but recently a pretty competitive place came into town, which took me away from Shaws. With that being said, as I have started to use the Shaws app and MyMixx, I have noticed that the prices at Shaws are actually way better than I remember them being.
Shaws has three day sales, which is usually the first Friday, Saturday and Sunday of that weeks shopping flier and the deals are amazing on their own. One week I was able to get a huge thing of coffee, that is still lasting us, for way below normal price just with Shaws three-day sale! Add the MyMixx deals to the Shaws lowered prices and you simply have an amazing experience; quality items at affordable prices.
As a means to truly test out this app and MyMixx, I was given gift cards, and each week I was able to buy 1 week worth of groceries each week for $100. If a family of six can get groceries at $100 a week at Shaws, you know their prices have become competitive and MyMixx has added to those competitive prices with spectacular savings.
I am very happy with Shaws and MyMIxx and will continue being a shopper at Shaws going forward because taking part in this campaign has opened my eyes to just how affordable Shaws can be, and it’s way better than having to drive 20-30 minutes to another town for groceries! The savings I have had are just jaw dropping and the ease of using the app, digital coupons and MyMixx account has been a pleasure.
Every cashier in my local Shaws has been helpful with many tips on MyMixx that wasn’t always aware of. I say this is a fabulous program, and that you really should look further into this, because we all like to save money for our family – the best place to start is with the grocery bill.
