  2. Fireworks are illegal here in MA, but I know a lot of people smuggle them in from New Hampshire and set them off anyways 🙂

  6. There is a great local display that is in walking distance from my house. I love fireworks. And my kids love the poppers.

  7. I just go hang out at my neighbors’. Lol. They spend thousands of dollars on this stuff. It is always fun at their fireworks parties too!

  10. They are illegal in NY but since we moved to CO where it’s not Hubby buys them after the 4th when they’re super cheap and save them for the following year. That works too. 🙂

  13. I love the 4th of July and especially the fireworks. In our state, we are not allowed to have fireworks but many people still do.

  15. We are all about the free shows! Leave all the work to someone else. We used to head to Disney to catch their fireworks show for the 4th.C

  16. I’m in Atlanta and Stone Mountain Park has the best 4th of July Fireworks in the city! I agree people should just go find the free fireworks in their city!

  17. This is a great list. We do the free shows and then we can sometimes see the fireworks from our house too (which is very cool).

  19. We are lucky that there are about 8 free shows in Baltimore and the surrounding burbs. We have a roof top deck in the city and see most of them. Much better than praying no one gets burned trying to put on their own show!

  22. I didn’t know you could use coupons on fireworks! That is a great idea. We have little stands that go up by us and we usually buy from there.

  23. I like firework shows but I don’t buy them to use myself. I rather leave it to the professionals. They do the most amazing displays I never could.

  24. We luck out and can sit in my mom’s front yard for fireworks. We also stock up after the holidays when they’re all doing the BOGO sales!
