EMPOWER • Empower covers some ground knowledge that will support you to further understand why you should adopt healthy lifestyle habits. In this module we will explore the physical and emotional health risks of not engaging in health promoting activities. The types of motivation that you can draw upon, and the ways to maintain motivation throughout the change process. We will also discuss how your emotional health plays a role with your physical health to affect your over-all health and well being.
NOURISH • Nourish covers the functions of food and what factors influence your eating habits. We provide a healthy eating guide and explain the major components of food such as carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Later in the module we explore emotional eating and strategies to identify between true hunger and psychological hunger and how to manage hunger and cravings.
EXERCISE • Exercise focuses on why exercise is important for all people. What are the types of exercise available and the respective advantages of engaging in these types of exercises. We then look at the quantity of exercise required by the body and then of course the common excuses used to avoid exercise and some strategies to combat these excuses.
RELAX • Relax – What we know about health and wellbeing is that it is quickly eroded by stress and emotional challenges. This module will increase your knowledge on the actual effects that stress has on your body. At times the strategies used for relaxation may be opposite to your health and wellbeing goals. We explore the strategies available for reducing and controlling those effects and relaxing your body and mind.
GOALS • Goals effective goal setting is a fundamental skill to achievement and success. We discuss how to set effective goals, and the development of strategies to overcome the challenges that you may face along the way. We also explore how you can cope with change in your life.
INDIVIDUAL • Individual explores the way you see yourself and the importance you place on looking after yourself. Discover things you are passionate about and find out how they provide enjoyment in your life. We also discuss self talk and the nature of the messages that you are sending to yourself.
ZZZ SLEEP • Zzz Sleep is one of those things in life that is taken for granted. It is accepted that you need it but sometimes neglect to place sufficient emphasis on how important it is for your body and your mind. Here you will discover the impacts of insufficient sleep on your health. Common things that influence your ability to obtain sufficient restorative sleep and strategies to change that.
ENTHUSE • Enthuse explore and recap what has been learnt, applied and experienced by you as a part of this program. We discuss celebration, how important it is and ways that you can bring more celebration into your life. We also discuss happiness and strategies to achieve authentic happiness in your life for life.
Throughout the program you will be provided with information, coaching, support, and tools for self discovery. We are here to provide you with support to take care of yourself, to be all you can be and enjoy the process. Classes are kept very limited in size to ensure personalization.
