  1. I fall into this sometimes…There are so many times I read a post, that just doesn’t connect with me…but I feel like I should leave a comment, as generic as it may be.

Then there are times…I just don’t know what to say…I can’t say I’m really looking for a ton of visitors on my blog…so I read and comment at my own pace…

  2. Girl I’m not tecky but the reader is awesome. I just figured it out a few months ago. If you subscribe to someone’s feed, go into your google home page and then go into reader. It will show you everyone you have subscribed to and it lets you know who has just posted a blog. It makes it so much easier than using your dashboard if you use blogger. Plus I have a blackberry and I can read my blogs in reader there. The only drawback is you can’t respond on reader, you have to click the title and go into the page to comment.

Anyway, I love comments too. I’m getting back into commenting. I totally agree with your post.

  3. Sometime people just want to let you know they were there. Like Dawn said, maybe the post wasn’t pertainable to them. I dunno I do like it when I get comments or funny stories that are what my post was about. ♥♥

  4. Dawn – I have to agree with you, sometimes you do want to have the person know you stopped by yet you are uncertain exactly what to say. I can understand leaving a comment in those types of situations!! Good point that I neglected to touch on 🙂

  5. I’m like you. I am addicted to reading blogs. It’s how I spend the majority of my day and how I even started blogging. There are some really great people out there and some really great blogs! It’s so much fun to read it all.

If I read something, I comment. I don’t lurk at all.

  7. If you haven’t figured reader out yet when you do you will love it.

I also believe in blog carma. It seems like too many bloggers get big and forget to pay if forward and revisit their visitors.

Thanks for posting this, helps me know where you are coming from.
