Dear Mr. Snobby UPS Guy,
I must admit I love that you arrive here with my packages in a timely manner, and I usually find my items in one piece. Which is better than I can say for the computer towers we used to sell but due to UPS damages being so frequent we stopped shipping computer towers {and lost many sales}. I like that you walked up and pet my puppy as if she was the cutest pup in the world. You even seemed to have a grin when you pet her.
I will tell you that I am not so in love with the fact that you are the snobbiest UPS guy in the world. I have never seen a man so snobby, head stuck up in the air. If I were not a polite mommy I would have uttered a rude comment at you when I said “Have a nice day” and you didn’t even aknowledge that I spoke. The other UPS guy is really friendly, he will even knock on my door to drop off a package, which is awesome!
The FedEx guy seems to be quite friendly too, he amuses me with conversation each time he drops of my printer ink or other packages. The FedEx guy will even ask me how my day is going or tell me to have a nice night. I don’t even have to say a thing to get his outgoing, friendly personality.
So Mr. Snobby UPS guy, the next time you drop off my package and I say, “Have a nice day” can you please just respond with a “sure will” or “you too” response? I mean it takes two seconds to aknowledge my stay at home mom friendly attitude. Seriously don’t you know I am lonely and need that social interaction with any random delivery person?
Please Mr. Snobby UPS guy do not look at me with those eyes that make me feel about 2 inches tall and then have the nerve to not even smile, or respond verbally when I tell you to enjoy your day. Next time I may not be home with my children, and may utter those rude words I so long to say to you.
Thank you again for delivering my packages in one piece and on time, but please respond when someone tells you to have a nice day; it’s called being polite!
Sincerely,
Frustrated WAHM of three
That is too funny! I am so sorry that your UPS guy is so mean! Mine is the complete opposite. He is TOO nice. LOL
Don’t you just love when packages come though? Since I have been doing product reviews and winning giveaways – I get so excited!
As far as your UPS guy – just keep being nice to him. Maybe he will come around. Don’t expect too much. Ya never know why people are the way they are. Maybe he has a wife dieing of cancer or maybe he is struggling with an addiction. Who the heck knows.
But I learned a valuable lesson about judging a person by their attitude. There was someone in my life who wasn’t all that nice and I assumed that they were stuck up and snobby. But later I found out that they were facing a huge struggle. So I decided from then on out to try to be more understanding and not let THEIR bad attitude affect mine.
You are doing great. Hopefully your mean UPS man will realize what a great person he is delivering those packages to. 🙂 Have a great day girl!

Ooooo, I’d take that as a challenge. I love trying to win people over or make them laugh if they’re grumpy, etc. Go for it!

I agree – I used to try to win grumpy ppl over, but seriously this guy has been this “same” way for YEARS, it’s not just once in a while, and you can’t even get him to smile when u run into him in the store off duty – seriously I have tried. I am queen of making people smile/laugh etc when they are not happy or grumpy or anything – I just love seeing people smile but not so much with this guy – guess he is just going to make me work harder! LOL
Thanks for the comment luv!
LOL! I love it! You really need to sendthis to UPS! I’m sure they’d like to know what kind of customer service their employees are giving! Again, too funny!
