  1. This is a great post Brandy! I personally blog as a hobby and I am a SAHM. I don’t make anything off my blog. I don’t have any ads, those payforposts never worked out for me, and I often giveaway products that I purchase with my own money. This takes what is a hobby for me to a whole other level, but I will definitely be talking to our tax preparer this year about this for the coming year.

  2. I have to agree with you. It’s not cash on hand which being taxeds is money out of our pockets so these products were are getting for free really aren’t free then after all. How do you keep track of the value of everything you receive?

  4. well that is nuts really. you would think they would ship you some money for the taxes on them goods. sounds like a tax mess to me.
