I received a $50 gift certificate to see how far it would go at a new Savers Thrift Store location in Plaistow, NH. All opinions are my own.
My friend and I decided to make a trip to Plaistow, NH to visit the first grand opening weekend of Savers Thrift Store a girls day! What a blast we had …. upon arrival I had Heidi take a photo of me …
I had never, ever been to a Savers Thrift Store before, Heidi had. I was excited to see what the hype was all about, Heidi had told me a lot about Savers during the week leading up to our girls day, she usually goes to a Savers Thrift Store in Massachusetts. Within moments, I noticed how huge this store was, unbelievable.
Heidi was wicked excited about the books, I was jaw dropped! The deals are incredible and Heidi was able to stock up on books for our schools Project Rabbit program, where they give the elementary children a free book each week in March. So many kids are without books, with the prices at Savers Thrift Store? No kid should have to go without, these are incredibly low priced and you get a free book for every three children’s book you purchase. I happened to pick up The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian Collectors Edition for my daughter, at only $2.99. A steal of a deal.
From dishes, to furniture to collectible dolls, nick knack type items and clothing, Savers Thrift Store really is a one stop shop that I plan to return to for Summer shopping and Back-To-School Shopping. I am taken away by the randomness you find here as well as the incredibly low priced clothing. I found the boyfriend a few pairs of pants in a size that is difficult to find, 36×32, he’s lost a ton of weight in the last two years and has difficulties finding pants so I grabbed him up three pairs.
I still laugh at this photo shown above, I found a random pair of eyeball looking glasses on a shelf and just had to put them on, while making a silly face, Heidi snapped a photo. The people walking by were certainly amused and now whenever I am having a rough evening, this photo just makes me crack up! Heidi and I were certainly laughing hard after we realized just how much these glasses actually looked silly but “so me”. Shoes, Shoes and More Shoes! I ended up buying my new dress boots here that I now wear to my office job every single day!
I really think that you need to check out Savers Thrift Store, hopefully you can check out this new location in Plaistow, NH but if not, look up to see where the most local one to you is!
I walked away with so many things; many needed clothing items for my boys which made me smile! I actually had a hard time spending $50 in full here at Savers Thrift Store because of the low prices.

I’ve never heard of it! It does look like a fun place though to visit with a friend. And the glasses are a hoot!
