The package arrived, Clearasil Rapid Action Daily Gel Wash and Clearasil Hyrda-Blast Oil-Free Face Wash, Miss Ki and I were excited! This was our chance to see if this product would help with her breakouts. This lovely middle school age is overwhelming in many ways, including keeping your pores clean and free of blemishes and breakouts, we were hoping Clearasil was up for the challenge. Miss Ki decided the Hydra-Blast Oil-Free Face Wash was her best choice, as she isn’t big on the ‘gel’ wash as a personal preference. As a means to have photos to share with you all, I had Ki show me her routine of washing her face each night, hence her silly faces above, she isn’t one to be the center of attention so I just snapped photos while she went about her routine. We tried hard not to giggle while I pretended to be some photo shoot genius!
Overall, this daily face wash has really helped keep Ki’s face clear as well as feeling clean. I think that is the most important part of a face wash, specifically with my tween, that “feeling of clean” more so than the “look of clean”. Obviously the two go hand in hand, normally, but this is what Clearasil has brought to my tween’s life – feeling as if her face is clean and it appears cleaner with less blemishes on her face! Ki will continue to use this daily, and I will actually be trying out the gel wash, I prefer that one, each night as a means to deal with my adult acne that seems to be a part of my daily life these days!

I have tween girls so I fully related to this post. It is so important to have clean skin and to teach them that clean skin is the canvas for makeup too. You can;t start wearing makeup until you have a good skin care regimen in my opinion.
