  1. I love this post Brandy! My son is 6yrs old and also high functioning on the autism spectrum. Much like your AJ, James takes this very literal and can often get in a mood if a sarcastic remark or joke is taken to heart. He is 100% general ed, and does great academically, but sometimes struggles with peers and communication. He also really enjoys playing video games! It is great to know there is other parents out there living the same life and conquering the same struggles. We have special boys!
