I always dream of those fairy tale, romantic movie wedding proposals when in all reality I would feel that was too much for a sweet memory that could be made in an outdoor park sitting on a bench near a pretty flower bush. The reality is, I am a girl, and occasionally girly thoughts cross my mind. This time of year many are getting married or thinking about proposing to their loved one. I just attended my little sisters wedding ceremony and it reminded me just how wonderful your wedding day can be.
Whether you are getting ready to propose or tie the knot, you will need to be shopping for diamond rings of some sort. As many of you know, I am divorced, but when we were shopping for wedding bands, the engagement ring & proposal step of getting married was completely skipped with that wedding date, we looked online for our rings. Local shops are great, I enjoy supporting local shops, however, sometimes you just want to see what’s out there for options.
One such website, the Whiteflash store has a wide selection of diamond rings and other wedding bands that allow you to shop around for wedding bands and engagement rings. As a person who had zero clue about diamond cuts, wedding band types and styles, window shopping on the Internet really assisted in finding a style that we thought would be great for who we were as a couple. It’s a lot easier for me to shop from my home office, or at least window shop, than it is to set foot into a jewelry store and have to deal with questions from the sales people.
I am a simple sort of woman, if I were to have the choice of my own engagement ring, I would want to have one diamond in the center alone or have one diamond in the center with two smaller diamonds on each side. I like a thin ring band and I prefer white gold or silver, of course platinum would suffice as well. Yellow gold has never been something I liked. The vatche designs look really appealing to me, they are simple yet elegant in design and most certainly would be one of those options I had on a list of rings I like should the idea of getting married again pops into my head & stays there.
Do you have a particular style of ring you prefer?

I do not like diamonds at all. I think the best thing jewelry companies can do in this day and age is expand their inventory and advertising to include other stones that are actually tailored to the personality of the wearer, rather than continue the pretense that all women want the same thing.
