#TMOM Twitter Party & Saving Money on Vacation

Every year we head to York Beach in Maine in hopes to find a place to stay close to the ocean. Each year we find that if you don’t book ahead of time then trying to find a motel or hotel to stay in close to the ocean water is quite an impossible feat.

This year our family has been saving to try to make sure we can plan ahead and stay at least one night in a motel near York Beach, ME. I know that my children would really like to go to the York Zoo as well and hopefully we can afford that extra expense on our mini family vacation.

One of the biggest reasons why we will be able to spend 1-2 nights in York, ME is because we take the time to bring our own food and supplies to ensure we don’t have to order room service or dine out the whole time we are on our mini-vacation.

Another great way to save money during a vacation would be to search online for coupons, deals and savings in the area you will be staying. A lot of companies have online savings that you can print to bring along with you and save some extra cash as well.

I can’t wait for a mini-vacation near the ocean, how wonderfully relaxing that will be and if we start searching now for deals in that area then maybe we will find a great way to experience the full joy of York, ME.
