I started a week earlier than some of those doing the 20 Second Fitness but I slacked off that first week and now been going strong. On Sunday I finished up the two weeks of warm ups and I guess it only gets more pumping from here on out. I have gone down inches and still at a weight loss of 5lbs combined with the diet changes and this workout routine. On “rest days” I walk or do crunches. I gained half an inch on my waist and so I plan to focus on getting that waist line down.
My reason for working out? Quite simple; to be healthier and to be at a good weight when I hit the Type-A Parent Conference June 23rd. I am leaving to go to my first blog conference and want to give a great first impression. Last Summer outfits are not fitting me which is so frustrating. To me that means I slacked off too much this Winter being lazy. I used to gain 20lbs every Winter, thank goodness I don’t gain 20lbs every Winter now but I do gain some weight.
I think I was meant to be a bear. Okay back to the point, my 20 Second Fitness update is simply put – I am down some inches and feeling awesome! The workout happens in the morning for me, this helps give me energy and a boost for the day with three crazy kids. My sons are very high energy and when you put my daughter with them she some how finds her insane energy and voila we have a house full of hyper, yelling, running kids.
The workouts are not too bad, since you switch to a new exercise every 20 seconds with a 10 second “rest” in between it helps your mind stay positive and focused. The intensity behind the workouts makes 20 seconds easier. You see if I had to do these workouts this intense for more than 20 seconds I am not sure I could keep up with the momentum and move forward.
I am happy with the results in the first two weeks of warm up and now can’t wait to see what the next week brings me for results!

Great job sticking with it Brandy! I had a delay so I just finished week 2. I skipped the warmup. We had no power and I spent a few days shoveling a trench in our yard and just couldn’t find the energy to do that and workout.
Tomorrow is my day off and I start week 3.
One thing I noticed about this program that surprised me was how much of a workout i actually get in that short amount of time. I’m winded during and after!

I am on day 4 of the first “real” week and wow! these are much harder than the warm ups. It wasn’t until I started this “non warm up” week that i started to see any results whatsoever. I know I am working out well though, cause I am winded and my muscles are sore every single morning!
