Welcome to Day 7, are you ready to move forward? I hope so, maybe, I don’t know … all wrong answers! Today you are going to say YES and you are going to learn how just one smile can make your day better!
My sister always picked on me and sometimes still calls me a dork because I always tell the cashiers or someone who helps me out at a store to have a nice day, I feel it is simply being polite but who knows what she thinks. I love my sister but she is silly sometimes. I have been able to make others happy and in return I feel happier simply through one big, full hearted smile. It’s amazing the lives I have changed simply by having them around me as friends. I am silly, funny and happy, truly happy with who I am and where my life has gone.
I have run into the most grumpy people while working outside of the home as a cashier, assistant, and bank teller but I pride myself in being that person who could always make that person smile and sometimes even laugh by the end of the time I was waiting on them. It’s all about presenting yourself in a positive manner. Starting your day off with a smile means you are waking up thinking this day is going to be the best day ever and when you think that way, the day truly will be the best day ever!
A smile does wonder for your face, I noticed that when I frown all the time I get those ugly wrinkles near my mouth and my lips start to naturally move towards a downward position that looks so unattractive, seriously who wants to see an upside down smile?! It’s all backwards, you want a right side up smile đŸ˜‰
Today I am inviting you to start your day off with a smile, one big, huge whole hearted smile. This will take some work, but it will eventually be easier for you as you practice. For the first few days be certain to wake up thinking about what it is that makes you happy and that smile will come, after you have practiced that smile will just flow naturally and everyone around you will feel the happiness radiate from you and ask how do you do that?!
Be happy … life is way too short to not do something as simple as smile! Enjoy your weekend my friends, I will continue this on Monday!
It is that simple step that you do that really makes up for someone who could be having a very crummy day. I try to do the same thing.
