Welcome to Day 5, I will forewarn you that I am emotional today and wrote about it on my other blog if anyone is following that one you will see what I am talking about. For today I want to talk about having a clear mind to move forward.
I will admit that when I cleared my mind with my old boss, I told her a lot of things I will not even tell my family. I also had a great friend who went to school with me back when I was about thirteen years old but moved to MA and we have got in touch and lost touch so many times over the years but he is the ONE person in this world who knew EVERYTHING about me, all the situations I got myself into due to low self esteem and the need to be loved by someone. I swear if most of you knew what I have been through in detail you probably would either not talk to me anymore OR have different feelings towards me. Either way, what is in the past is not important because today I am talking about having a clear mind and head so that you can move forward in life.
A part of being able to move forward is no longer hanging onto the bad in your past and having the ability to move forward in a positive direction. Basically take some time to confide in someone, write in a journal or sometimes you can simply clear your head on your own, whatever method you choose be certain to figure out what happened in the past is something you can learn from for a better future. That is how you can start being an optimistic person rather than a pessimistic person.
Allow yourself to have the ability to think and know that everything that happens in life will have a favorable outcome. Once you have cleared your head you can now start to think clearly and train your brain to think optimistically about your present and future. Remembering that people can only make you feel how you allow them to make you feel is one of the key factors to be able to think positive.
So today I invite you to clear your head and start training yourself with the I CAN attitude. Keep telling yourself that you can do this, and when things go bad train your mind to start thinking proactively versus focusing on the bad at hand. You will be amazed at how relaxed you feel and how easy it will be to smile.

New Blog Post Day 5: Head Clear To Move Forward http://bit.ly/cYWsRr
Optimism is something I have been working on a lot lately. I have even been doing this with my kids – praising them more and focusing on being grateful. This is so important for self esteem.
Anyway, thanks for the great post.
