I talk a lot here about PBS Sprout as well as over on Twitter and Facebook. PBS Sprout is on our television daily here in the BrandyEllen household. We enjoy waking up to The Wiggly Waffle and going to bed with The Good Night Show. My three year old has learned so much from watching PBS Sprout with me; from colors to counting and much more he amazes me each day with the wonderful things he has learned on PBS Sprout.
The Good Night Show often talks about The Great Sprout Tuck-In and I wanted to share this wonderful donation idea with you, since they are close to reaching their 75,000 new PJ’s and Books by October 1st but are not quite there yet. I am hoping for us all to work together to spread the word and donate new bedtime books and new PJ’s so we can to help out the children in need.
Every night my children sit and read a bedtime story with myself and my husband. We each take turns reading each night, some nights my oldest reads to the boys and we listen, other nights Daddy Justin reads to the kids and I listen. Either way our bedtime routine consists of a bedtime book on the couch with us all snuggled up reading. Bedtime stories (and PJ’s) are very important for children. Reading to your child for at least 20 minutes a day can encourage a love for reading that will only grow stronger the older they get – believe me my almost 7 year old reads any chance she can get and is reading away beyond her age level.
So if you would kindly help me spread the word about The Great Sprout Tuck-In I would appreciate it, head on over to The Great Sprout Tuck-In website and see how far they have come towards their goals and find out more about the program itself … oh and if you don’t currently have PBS Sprout offered by your cable provider please remember to ask “Sprout Please“.

We love Sprout!! That’s the one program on TV that lil boo is allowed to watch (besides anything Gordon Ramsay) *smirk* He adores Nina and Star. I think he would flip out if he were ever able to meet them IRL.
It is a good cause, and you know I am huge fan/advocate of reading to our lil one’s!!
Cheers!
