Email and 400 Bad Request Errors

If anyone has tried to email me in the past few days, let it be known that my inbox was set to 250MB limit and well I went past that in about 2 days. I found out about my email account “issue” when I realized my inbox was not as full as normal. I really hope my “kick back” email issues didn’t unsubscribe me from the blogs I love to read or make me miss an important email. I suppose they will email me again and I will just have to keep my eyes out on my account to ensure I am still receiving all blog updates from my friends.

The next issue I was having was regarding this blog, yeah, apparently my traffic plummeted and I figured it was just because I wasn’t out there promoting content and doing my Entrecard drops. Finally it dawned on me, I had been getting a 400 Bad Request error with some big long code type item below it for at least three days now. I could easily clear it out by cleaning my cookies, this was a pain, but at least it WORKED. I never thought maybe others were getting this error too?! Maybe you were, maybe you weren’t but I do know that now no one should be getting that error when visiting my site.

About a month ago or longer I upgraded my WordPress to the 2.8 version and since then I have had nothing but nightmares with plugins and apparently the WP Greetbox plugin that I kinda really like doesn’t work now. I am uncertain the reason and quite honestly if someone wants to subscribe to my blog they can do so on my sidebar so why have some big announcement in their face anyways?! I thought it was cute, friendly and another way to “connect” with my readers, but when it comes down to it my readers will come back for more if they like what I write so why have an extra annoyance in their face, right?!

Shout out to @amomspeaks and @timbury for their combined separate assistance on the error I was receiving. Due to them both trying to assist me I was able to resolve the 400 Bad Request error!!

I believe my Happily Blended email account will now be fixed and I can continue to receive emails from those who contact me, but in the case that you get an error you can reach me on Twitter @brandyellen or even on my Facebook profile. Heck I even have LinkedIn where I can connect with others too. So remember if all else fails send me a tweet or a message so I can fix it. My email account has been set from 250MB limit to 1000MB limit and so I hope this will get me through a few days until I figure out how to stop leaving a copy of messages on my server.
