Ever since I can remember I have always enjoyed helping others in anyway possible. This is how everyone should be, but it seems that giving has become a situation where the giver will only give if they have a bribe for winning an item or getting something in return. Now do NOT get me wrong, there are still so MANY people out there who are willing to give what they can to help others asking for nothing in return, I met many of these people on The Diva Within, as well as in my other online travels. I think it is wonderful when others get together to create a basket that can be raffled off but all donations go to the family in need, however, I think it’s even more wonderful when you can donate just $1 to a family in need without getting anything in return other than the pure satisfaction of knowing you have helped another human being. To think just getting $1 from 100 people and the family who needs this money would have $100. That is just amazing to me!
So the reason for me posting today about helping others is because there IS a family in need right now, there IS a family asking for help. Blogging Momma wrote about it today and you can read more about this families story by clicking here. I really hope you will be able to donate even one dollar to this family and blog about their situation to get the word out. I could not imagine losing my baby, having no money for his funeral and then having to explain to the baby’s two older siblings what happened to their baby brother. I have three children and I really could NOT imagine going through this, the story touches my heart deeply and I hope it touches yours as well. I hope their story will remind you that just ONE DOLLAR can help and to be THANKFUL for your family and what you DO have, because life is too short and too complicated to know for sure what tomorrow brings. So please hug your children, hug your spouse, and tell them how much you love them TODAY.
The below paragraph taken from Blogging Momma:
Keaton’s Obituary can be found here at Fort Worth Star Telegram to read more about him and his family. Also while you are there don’t forget to sign the guest book because as you all know the Huebner family can use all the kind, supportive words and prayers they can get.
I hope you will stop by Blogging Momma’s page often as she will be inserting a PayPal button for donations. All it takes is just one dollar, and one moment of your time to pass the word around. Let’s work together to help this family any way we can.
Hugs,
Brandy
Thank you for the help spreading the news! You are so sweet!
