My family is a real connected family. I have this strong family unity bond that enables me to, without question, put my family before anything else in the whole entire world. I work around my family, it doesn’t work around my work. I always have and always will place my child’s needs before my own. This is why we are such a close knit, happy bunch of people. We all know and feel loved, no matter what. I am here to share a few simple ways to spend time with your family, without spending any money. These simple things done together, on a daily basis, as a family, will seriously enable you to create a strong bond from now unto forever. I work from home, strictly from home and have …

Yesterday was a day full of challenges. From the onset of Monday morning, my life was in utter chaos mode and it only grew worse when I picked up my sons from school. It was a Monday of all Monday’s, that one digger. That one day where it was extremely challenging for me to count my blessings. I literally wanted a do-over. I had wished I could climb in bed, close my eyes and wake up all over again much like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. I picked up the boys from school and my youngest was in a mood. My youngest gets in these moods where, instead of speaking English, he speaks these grumpy giberish tones that make no sense. I do not play that game, if my children …

One thing we did not get to do this past Summer that my family has wanted to be able to do is stay a weekend somewhere, preferably camping out so maybe we can have our pug with us. I don’t like the idea of trying to find a place to put Jenny the pug up nor do I have anyone who can house sit the doggy. I know our kitty would be fine, as we can leave him ample water and food, but the dog? Well dogs are not self sufficient in ways of the kitty. With that being said, I joked often about renting a camper van type thing this past Summer so we could get out and enjoy the great outdoors. There is a website I use as …

It was a sad day when I learned that a water pipe had burst sending thousands of gallons of water through my two younger children’s school, leaving the old building of the school in shambles. The library was full of wet books, the office and the cafeteria where a few places in the school I had heard were full of water and showing signs of damage from the water pipe bursting. I literally cried. Yes, I am an emotional lady these days, but this is a school I went to as a child, the old part of my children’s building is the same place I went for first grade up through third grade. This is a great school, with amazing teachers and students! Due to the school having to be …

A newsletter hit my inbox last week and it was something that completely appealed to me! As a mom of kids who love to play board games together on family game nights I know that most of our games end up with lost pieces and missing cards. I actually had to throw out my Sorry board game recently and after reading this information I had wished I never tossed it because I could have traded it in! GREAT GAMES TRADE IN: Is your game of Sorry! looking, well, a little sorry? Or maybe the Cavity Sam in your game of Operation looks like he needs to take a trip to the ER. Whether you’re missing some money in your Monopoly game or letter tiles from the Scrabble game, it may …
