  3. This year for Halloween I’m taking a trip to Massachusetts to visit my nieces. I was thinking of getting them a cute holiday themed book as a gift but didn’t know of any good ones! They love reading so this is perfect!

  4. Just in time for my fortnightly library trip. Halloween is not really a thing here but the books seem good. My daughter will enjoy them.

  5. The all sound like cute books. I will have to check into getting Room On The Broom and Boo! for my niece and nephew.

  7. This Friday I am going to my daughter’s class to be a mystery reader and I was searching for a good Fall/Halloween book! Thank you for the great ideas! Room on the Broom is my son’s favorite!

  9. I remember reading some spooky Halloween books when I was a kid. I always loved to get myself scared by turning off the lights and reading by a flashlight. Any little thing that went bump would make me jump!

  10. Those are all super fun choices for reading this month. My youngest thinks each day is Halloween, and keeps asking when she gets to go trick-or-treating.

  11. We have Little Blue Truck’a Christmas, so we will have to check out the Halloween one! I’ve mean meaning to get a new book or two for our collection.

  12. Fun books. These would make great gifts for those that like to boo houses. Where you put a pail off goodies on the step for friends and neighbors and run away.

  13. We love picking out seasonal and holiday themed books from the library. There seems to be some fantastic titles listed here.

  15. This is such a great list! While we haven’t read many of these Halloween books, we’ve read lots of other books that are in some of the series like Pete the Cat, Corduroy, Pinkalicious, etc.

  16. I sadly have never heard of any of these but the “Splat the Cat” is seriously calling my name. They all look adorable!

  17. I used to work in a bookstore and always loved browsing the Halloween books in the children’s section. These are all great suggestions!

  18. It’s amazing to have this much to share to your kids to help encourage them read more. I like having a book that they’ll enjoy reading for each season. This list is amazing and I could use this to help my daughter pick out a book that she wants to read for Halloween.
