It’s important to respect their individuality and to also give them enough space to grow and discover things on their own. Giving them responsibilities that they can handle will definitely teach them discipline. It’s tough, because not all teenagers are alike, but as parents, just do what you think is right for your child.

Raising teenagers is a tough phase every parent has to go through. I am fortunate that we have survived this phase of parenthood. The first thing we did was to work around on building trust and mutual respect.

It can be so hard to raise kids these days. I try to build confidence in my kids and let them try new adventures.

Not that raising boys is any easier bc we’ve not hit this age. Raising children is totally challenging.

I have a teen girl in the house. She’s a senior this year. We had some bumps but she’s doing wonderfully now!! Knock on wood. 🙂

I love to find the good traits in my kids and really talk those up because it seems the rest falls into place when I do!
