Oh my goodness, delays are horrible with kids. I use tablets to my advantage because that seems to do the trick at least for a little bit.

I don’t have any kids but have been stuck in a few delays before. I couldn’t imagine going through a delay with a child, it was hard enough by myself!

I like that the Internet is controlled for the kids on the LeapPad. We let the kids bring tablets when we travel.
