  2. I love this article. Personally, I’ve never understood why people do crazy expensive stuff over spring break. Your kids are out of school. They’ve already gotten their reward. LOL

  4. We almost always stay home for spring break. It’s supposed to be a chance to decompress, so we stay put and have movie nights and game nights.

  5. We do #1 regularly – my husband and Red call it, “Monster Cleaners.” They talk and act like monsters while they make beds, pick up and straighten.

  6. These are all great ideas for things to do on spring break. We always play board games or card games. We also packed a lunch and go to the beach for the day.

  7. I love how the older kids are covering their faces! My husband does that. 🙂 UNO is our favorite game to play. My daughter is 6 and over the past year the girl has actually learned stategy!

  8. These are all great suggestions and I am happy none of them cost a fortune. My children visited my inlaws in California for most of their spring break, but we were still able to have some family fun time too.

  9. These are really fun suggestions! We also do a lot of crafts at our house. I keep a craft bin with all kinds of crazy stuff and my kids can play for hours.

  14. We love board cgames, cards, and outdoor sports. Having four kiddos, we can have a ton of fun playing almost anything
