  2. Buffet style parties are great. I love to do a potluck thing where everybody brings something. You get to try so many different things!

  3. Great food is good, but I love appetizers, fun finger food is great to carry around the party…. and what is a party without the fun and games?

  4. Food and games all together make the party! I try to make it fun for everyone! I think Buffet works the best so that people can pick what they want.

  5. Planning what games to play and what food to serve is an exciting aspect of party planning! Making it themed is even better! It’s fun when you can match the food and games to the overall party theme :).

  6. Games and food is for sure #1 when it comes to party! Food for us is for sure an important one as everyone we invite are always coming from work and hungry!

  7. These are great ideas. I used to be so good at badminton! Cornhole is always a good outdoor party game too.

  8. We always have tons of games on hand during parties… It is a great way to break the ice, if need be, and to keep the fun going for some time. Oh and great food is a plus, as well.

  9. We like to have bowling tournaments with the WII at our parties. The kids love challenging the adults.

  10. There’s a lot of ways a party can fail – you need to cover all the bases! Thanks for the checklist!
