There are a few areas I struggle with too, in the positive factor, and I have to readjust my thinking/speaking/actions quickly to get out of whatever it is I'm thinking or feeling that is not positive. Your tips are good ones.

As crazy as it sounds, sometimes I try to remember the worst moments of my life. I went into labor two months early with my son and the whole labor and emergency C-section was a nightmare, but he was only 2 pounds, 11 ounces at birth and those first few weeks were just hellish for me. Then he came home on a heart monitor and then he had to have occupational therapy for sensory issues. My son's 11 now with no health issues at all, other than the nearsightedness he got from my DNA, and whenever I get down in the dumps, I just think about what all we've been through and if we can get through that then whatever new thing pops up can't be that bad.
