I have two cats, one is called Smokey and his the old guy around the house. He is great, simply lounges about and sticks to himself. The other cat is about two years old and is called Baby Kitty. Baby Kitty is a pain in the arse if you know what I mean. Always on counters and tables, doesn’t respond to spray bottle discipline or anything. The cat drives me bonkers, but the kids love him and so he stays because he is our family.
Now that I have a country setting off of a main highway I am able to let the Baby Kitty out of the house to be outdoors and he is loving it! The issue at hand is that he is partially deaf, which I recently found out. I went to leave the other day and felt a thump when Baby Kitty went running off to the deck.
I checked on Baby Kitty and he was limping. The back right leg seemed messed up. I figured I better take him to the vets because, well, that is the right thing to do. After spending $200 on an xray and steroid prescription for Baby Kitty all the vet told me was that nothing is broken and he just needs to rest and be in a confined area so he can heal on his own.
This is one expensive cat that I don’t love as much as the other one, but I guess in the long run I am glad to know he is alive and I didn’t break anything when I ran him over.
