I’d love a mommy time out but I don’t ever take them. I really need to work on this because I’m absolutely no good to anyone when I’m overly stressed, aggravated, tired or PMS’ing 🙂

I do take time outs, but probably not as much as I should. Sometimes the kids wind up pushing me to my breaking point and I give in to a little screaming and then realize – ok, I need to walk away right now.

And I do have a couple that follow me, so I know how you feel in that. We all screw up at times as moms and lose our cool, but I think if we realize it and then the same situation happens again, we can work on responding instead of reacting. And if we need to take a “time out”, locking ourselves in the bathroom for a minute and turning on the exhaust fan so we can’t hear the screaming – may just work. 🙂
