Awesome article!

I am totally addicted and spend too many hours on there! But I am working on balance. I never neglect my son or myself due to social media though. I see many moms tweeting away while complaining their kid is asking for this or is hungry or they have 'too much work' to stop and take a shower or eat or PEE even!!!!!... I can't understand that. Those are the people that need reminded to get up and experience life outside of the internet. I think it's a case by case basis who I would tell they are addicted though. I don't think it's really my place if it's someone I only am merely acquainted with. Like you said, I couldn't imagine trying to keep up with the media and grocery shopping with children. And I wouldn't want to. I love spending time with my family. That is more important than anything! :)

That is one of the reason I am hesitant to start doing twitter... or facebook. I get caught up with just reading email & now blogging. I love that it is a social outlet for myself... but I have health problems that do not let me get out too often. If I was more mobile I would hope I could easily leave my computer at home & go out & live life. I barely keep up with email, I know I would get stressed also doing twitter & facebook.
thanks for the opinion brandy!
