I often wonder where I’d be today if I had made different decisions years ago, but then I realize that I can’t change it anyways, so why worry about it.

I have reconnected with many friends from high school that are very different than they were then, and I’m sure I am too. I think people realize that over the years with new experiences and age, that people change.

I would have to say that you shouldn't worry about trying to show people of your past that you have changed. Sometimes it just doesn't matter, they won't see it. Just be your best you, be true to yourself and those around you will see it. You seem to be on a path of self awareness, keep it up.
