Taken from my e-book that I no longer have for sale called Optimistic Thoughts … hope you enjoy this as a positive, uplifting, motivating story!
When you are a single mom of one with no job, living back at your parent’s house you have to wonder, will things ever get better? The answer is quite certainly YES, if YOU think they can. Sitting around in self pity and thinking of what your life may have been, could have been, or what you would do if you could turn back the pages of time is not going to get you moving forward, not to mention it will not create a loving, optimistic, nurturing environment for your child. As a parent, you need to think of them first and yourself second. This is not saying your health and well being come first, because in all honesty YOU and YOUR CHILD must come first. Do not allow men to come into your life because you need financial help or you think you are looking for love, when in all reality you are just reaching out for anything that can help you forget what position your life is now in.
The best way to move forward when you are single, have a child, and/or live with your parents again is to think optimistic thoughts. By definition according to the Free Online Dictionary, optimistic means “one who usually expects a favorable outcome.” In other words, you expect the outcome of any situation to be in your favor.
Let’s go back for a moment, you are single, have a child, and no income so that’s the obvious part of your life, which can be named “the bad”. At this time you get to make a decision that will either better or worsen yours and your child’s life, will you be the optimistic or pessimistic thinker? Will you choose a better direction or will you choose a worse direction?
If you have decided to choose the “better direction” then you are taking the first step to Optimistic Thoughts and YES things WILL get better.
