  1. I think the plugin is a great idea but I’m with you I like the personal Thank you’s best!!

  2. I too use Thank me later at my site but am getting tired of it as it seems funny that the system send’s me thank me notes for leaving reply comments on my own site. I may deactivate it too :_)

  3. I couldn’t agree with you more. Getting a personal message from someone rather than an automated message means a whole lot more to the receiver – it means you took some time to think about them – even if it’s just for a second. So I am glad you made the choice to go personal! 🙂

  4. You’re such a sweet lady. I wish everyone in the net is like you. But too bad, you are rare here. Because the internet has become a breeding place for trolls and scammers now. Sad, huh?
But I still wish that someday people around the net would be a little bit nicer. 🙂

  5. At first I thought that the Thank Me Later plugin was kinda cool. But I am also like you and I feel that it is so much better to write personal comments to each of my readers. I have really been working more on this lately. My goal is to comment back on every commenters blog in return for them commenting on mine. It is a huge task, but it really means so much to hear from my readers and it is my way of saying thankyou.

  6. I’m still using it but have thought about stopping recently. I just don’t know. I don’t think I have enough time in the day to respond to everyone. If only my children would nap longer, LOL!

  8. I like the idea behind “Thank me later”, but I wasn’t too sure on how to use it.

I mean, I usually reply to most of my comments – as well as I can keep up (not via e-mail though, but on the site). So the commentators might feel odd if I (the plugin) e-mails them a few hours before/after replying to them on blog.

Only problem is, those who does not “subscribe to comments” might never receive your reply…

PS: If you stopped using it, why does it then say “We use Thank Me Later” at the bottom of this page? 😀
