UBISOFT Releases The Smurfs 2 and We Have it for our Wii #smurfs2game

We have a new video game added to our Wii collection and it’s a fun game that even I can play, well, sort of. I watched my daughter play The Smurfs 2 on the Wii and I think it’s a fun game. Who is your favorite Smurf? If you could choose which Smurf to be on a game, which one would you choose? I would always choose Papa Smurf, just love him. The Smurfs 2 video game is rated E for everyone and is brought to you by Ubisoft. You can play as whichever Smurf you choose to be and […]

Time For a Second Kindle Fire?

Lately there have been five children around, hanging out, enjoying the part time company of each other. Ages 12 down to age 4 makes for what one would think of as a crazy mix of age groups, however, all five kids get along so well that I nearly have to pinch myself to ensure I am not living in a dream land when these kids are together. The only downfall to having five children altogether is that I own one Kindle Fire. The Kindle Fire I own is a loved tablet in this household, it is also a loved tablet […]

Get Moving with Wii – Just Dance 4 from Ubisoft

I am excited to share with you all one of the few ways my kids and I work out, well it’s more like having fun with our Wii. Believe it or not, during our fun sessions on the Wii with Just Dance 4 and the title I previously purchased at a store, Just Dance 2, we work up a sweat! I laugh when my daughter is all like “Man Mama this is a work out” and I have to reply “duh, what do you think moving your arms, legs and body is?” .. then I get the eye roll. It’s […]

Get Out and Enjoy The Fresh Air #fitness #health @harvardpilgrim

What do you do on a day where there isn’t really anything you can think to do. Maybe taking a walk in the woods or driving downtown to play on the basketball courts isn’t an option. So what is it that you do with the kids to keep active? Well I know what my kids and I prefer to do, we head outside in our own backyard to enjoy some random fun. Whether they take out the bikes, scooter or just do races up and down the driveway on feet, we get active. At first my oldest, and only daughter, […]

Working Out Starts Yet Again … EA Sports Active on Wii

I swear I can never keep up with a regular work out routine for long. In the past I watched as inches and pounds dropped while muscle tone was built up using EA Sports Active on the Wii and each time I felt even more positive and happier than before, if that’s even possible. So once again I hopped on the bandwagon of working out daily for the scale was tipping forward and I was all set on letting my stress get the best of me, no more tummy gain because of the amount of responsibilities I have on my […]

What do you Mean I lost 4lbs???

A year ago I was down to 180 lbs, now let me tell you all; during every single one of my pregnancies I was over 200lbs, so I was happy at 180lbs but working to get to 140 or 130lbs, or be in a size 12/13 maybe would suffice. At 180lbs I was comfortably wearing a woman size 14 and honestly I felt good. When I was down to 180lbs I was doing EA Sports Active daily, only taking one break one day a week. I could eat whatever I wanted to, I could drink whatever I wanted to and […]

UbiSoft Party at Type-A Parent Conference #typeacon @UbiSoft

I attended a fantastic party while at Type-A Parent Conference where we were able to experience Just Dance 2 and believe we also had the sneak peek at Just Dance 3 in addition to Smurfs Dance Party which isn’t even out yet. I must admit the Smurfs Dance Party looked fun but it was creepy to see Papa Smurf getting down dancing. I had to laugh pretty hard when he popped up on the screen. I loved this party because I hadn’t ever played any of the Just Dance games on my Wii yet, I am one of those that […]

Weekends Mean Computer Game Time

My four year old is addicted to game time, which is why he is only allowed to play the Wii or computer games for a short period of time and that is a privilege that gets taken away if he is not following rules during the day or is aggressive towards family & friends. When my kids want to play online computer games I usually look for ways to download games because sometimes they find games that are so much better if you download them. There are websites that my four year old usually plays on but my daughter is […]

The TV Lies … AJ is THE BEST

My four year old absolutely loves his Wii game time and lately he has been misbehaving and hitting me so I take away his Wii time, but one day he actually finally had been good so he was able to get some game time in. AJ was playing Mario Kart on the Wii Console and he apparently didn’t do as well as he had thought, or at least the TV didn’t tell him he did as well as he thought. I am in the kitchen making something for them for lunch or dinner, I forget the exact time of day […]
