My Little Technology Monster so-to-speak #AutismAwareness

As we move further into the month, I am still talking about Autism Awareness because well it’s important alongside many other topics, but this is the one I am learning the most about this month with the recent DX of my son. Today, I discuss the technology addiction my son has always had and was easily confused in the beginning with an ADHD type of child. Aj has always loved electronics, video games could have easily ruled his world back in the younger days, ages 2-5. Then he got older, he learned about MineCraft and YouTube. Most days you will […]

Legos Bring Kids Together – Eternally Grateful For Legos

A local father to a boy who used to go to the same school as my daughter dropped me a message on Facebook asking if my boys liked Legos. Of course my reply was, “yes they do!”. Later that day, to my surprise, the local friend dropped off this gigantic tote of Legos. I honestly am amazed at how many kind, thoughtful families there are in my town. This particular man and his wife are absolutely sweet, they both are friends with me on Facebook and I admire them lots! I am now eternally grateful to them because dropping these […]

I-Gami Geometrical Genius For Family Fun

My kids received some pretty good gifts this holiday season, one of which was an item that my Mom and I found at a consignment shop. I assumed the boys would like it but I never guessed that they would love it. I-Gami Geometrical Genius has been sitting, open on my table for weeks now and is our go to entertainment when waiting for dinner, lunch or to go to school. I-Gami is such a simple, yet unique, toy to play with. You see, it’s a lot of different shapes and allows you to become a geometrical genius. I have […]

Always Looking for Online Games for the Family

My seven year old absolutely loves to play on the computer, this is a big change from my video game addict. You see, I haven’t purchased a video game in a long time so he only has games he has already finished. This means that as my seven year old gets extra time after school homework he wants to surf the web for free online games. I usually prefer to be the one using Google to search out safe online games that way I know he isn’t getting into any malware or infectious game websites that could crash our laptops. […]

It’s pretty easy to sell your old DVD’s, CD’s or games on musicMagpie, simply find the barcode on your product and enter it into the website.  When you enter the barccde into the website, you will then be told […]
