Milk-Bone Brushing Chew (4)

I am not the only one who benefits from being a blogger, Jenny the Pug is also being able to benefit from the product samplings this month! Recently we received a box of Milk-Bone Brushing Chews™ for the sweet Pug in our life.

When we adopted Jenny the Pug a couple of years back, we found out that her teeth were not taken care of very well. Right now it’s a choice of keeping up the best we can with her teeth because dental hygiene is important for your pets. Luckily, Jenny’s teeth issues are not anything negatively affecting her health and we have been lucky to find products like these to assist in dental upkeep. This is why when I was pitched to test out Milk-Bone Brushing Chews™, I said YES PLEASE.

These boxes for storage of the Milk-Bone Brushing Chews™ are perfect, you can buy them in these boxes based on what size dog you have, for us we have received both options of the mini and the small/medium sizes. Jenny is more under the mini sized because she weighs about 17lbs.  I love that the bags inside of these boxes pictured above have a Velcro closure rather than any other options I have seen with various dog treats in the past, I am resting easy knowing that the Milk-Bone Brushing Chews™ are staying fresh in the box.

Jenny the Pug will sit for any treat, usually. Shown above she is not-so-patiently seated and waiting for me to release her the Milk-Bone Brushing Chews™, which I did. I just had to tease her for a moment with a treat to picture for you all what she looks like when she is ready for her yummies! Jenny quickly grabbed the treat as soon as I let her know she could and away she ran into her human sisters bedroom to munch on her Milk-Bone Brushing Chews™.

I say the dog gives Milk-Bone Brushing Chews™ two paws up, what do you think?

Milk-Bone Brushing Chews™ have a twist & nub design clinically proven as effective as brushing your dogs teeth, please use these daily to ensure they truly help with dental hygiene. Milk-Bone Brushing Chews™ dental treats come in a package designed to be reminiscent of a toothpaste box. Each product package features a recommendation for annual veterinary dental check-ups and the VOHC’s recommendation of daily brushing for optimal effectiveness, as well as the support of the VOHC Seal of Acceptance. There are currently two sizes of these available for sale in your local grocery store pet aisle; Mini, for dogs 5-24 pounds; and Small/Medium, for dogs 25-74 pounds, as well as a value size box. The suggested retail price is between $4 and $5 per box.

The Christmas Rush and The Pug Wonders ….

It’s that time of year, my kids have 12 total days off without school. This past weekend the kids were off with their other parent and it was time for Lee and I to get wrapping.

Christmas Labels

We were busy ensuring we had Moms, Sisters, Nieces and the Dad covered this holiday season and had to deliver gifts before Monday came.

Prep for Christmas

My mom’s and sisters and nieces gifts were all wrapped up and ready to deliver. So we hopped on in our van and went off delivering gifts through the evening last night.

Pug naughty or nice

Jenny the Pug wasn’t quite sure if she was naughty or nice this year so she sat watching us thinking about Santa and wondering… will she get a Christmas gift this year from Santa?!

What do you all think; will Jenny the Pug get a gift from Santa Claus this year?

One Day Wasted

Woke up with no internet. It was fun. That was yesterday. Went all day without internet because when they finally turned it back on  .. they did what they always do FORGOT TO REFRESH THE MODEM.

The Good Life

I sat with nothing to do but twiddle my thumbs, lay with Jenny the Pug and attempt to work best I could from my iPhone. Sure I could have written some content in Word but when my brain is so annoyed at no internet, it doesn’t write very well.

So I laid in bed. All day. Why? Because that was the best option to recoup from me being overwhelmed with work, life, kids and the changes in seasons.

Have I told you that all the world needs is a little bit more common sense and common courtesy before? Well if I have, I am saying it again. Why do some people just have to be the types who create their own drama and their own downfalls yet blame it on others?

I cannot understand that mindset. When I fall down it’s my fault. When I screw something up, it’s my fault. I do not blame others for my own actions in this world and really, if we had a lot more of that attitude in this world … then we would have a heck of a lot more peace.

Maybe it’s not if we try to change others that our world would have more peace, maybe it’s like one of my Twitter friends stated in prior conversations, if we should just remove miserable people out of our lives and allow them to enjoy their own misery. Basically, we accept how other people live and let it be … unless it’s personally affecting you and you cannot remove the person from your life. There are some people who can’t be fully removed, you just have to have better coping skills and an absolutely positive mindset to keep moving forward, marching to your own happy beat.

I firmly believe that there is good within all people. They just have to find it within their hearts. To find happiness and good within you … you have to find your happy place. It takes practice, time and dedication but once you find that happy within, you will feel such a weight lifted and not be able to help but smile every single day.

That’s all… happy Friday! I have kids this weekend so I shall be doing the Mom thing but Monday ….. awwww Monday, I shall return to work full force!

Cheers to the weekend my friends! Spread happiness, good thoughts and joy to all who pass you this weekend!

Last weekend we had no kids. It was quiet in the house and there was not seven people running around trying to entertain and keep each other occupied, it was just us two adults. When it is just two adults in the household we are more open to the idea of eating out or at least ordering out and bringing it home to relax upon the couch to eat over a good movie and drink. This past weekend we decided to give Wendy’s flatbread a taste test as part of a campaign I am working on. The man of the house LOVES Wendy’s to begin with so this was an easy campaign to test out for us.

Wendy's Logo

The man and I hopped into our family van and drove 45 minutes to West Lebanon, as that is our most local Wendy’s location and we picked up the Asiago Ranch chicken flatbread. We drove home and worked on creating a fun video, which you can see on Instagram here. We had fun creating a video while Jenny the Pug stared at the flatbread in hopes we would share just one bite, we did not share. The Asiago Ranch Chicken flatbread was delicious, the man of the house had it gone in 2.2 seconds I swear. I was not able to snap any pictures of the flatbread, but you can visit the Wendy’s 6 Seconds Flat Sweepstakes webpage to learn more about the options for these flatbreads.

We were checking out Wendy’s flatbreads as part of their current sweepstakes where you can share your #6secondslfat video of yourself or a friend enjoying one of Wendy’s flatbreads and enter for a chance at $6,000! I know what I would do with that kind of money; pay off bills. A home purchase in late June has really left us playing catch up and $6k could really help us get back on track financially.

What would you do if you won the $6,000 from Wendy’s #6secondsflat sweepstakes? Are you going to go enter?

The Lost Cat and Pug Guard Dog #pug #kitty

Our first few nights in the new house we had a visitor, well he came over in broad daylight too…

Guard Pug and Neighbors Cat (3)

A super friendly beautiful kitty with thumbs.. so I believe that is called double pawed? Either way, he is adorable. The kids questioned feeding him and we said no way! Never feed a stray animal, he will keep coming back. The kids loved him, we loved him, but he was not our kitty…

Guard Pug and Neighbors Cat (2)

After a couple of days of this cat trying to get into our house, we noticed that he was over at the neighbors so I asked their kids if that was their kitty and they said yes. So we found it’s owners, but that has not stopped our Pug from being on guard for Cat Duty, she will not be having cats in her new backyard …

Guard Pug and Neighbors Cat (1)

Jenny the Pug is often found on Guard like shown above, because she does not want that kitty in our yard…. it’s adorable. I laugh so hard at how my little pug seems to think she is some huge guard dog, after all when she is on guard she barks like Donald Duck (no joke).
