{Giveaway} Edible Arrangements in MA, NH, and RI Raises Funds for MS

I have partnered up with Edible Arrangements to offer this fabulous giveaway in conjunction with spreading the news that the National MS Society has joined efforts with Edible Arrangements in MA, NH and RI to raise funds for MS research and raise awareness.

How does MS touch my life personally? Thirteen months ago my sister gave birth to a beautiful baby girl after being told for many years she would never have a child. This little miracle baby entered our world and melted our hearts but then my sister started having some issues. Losing feeling on one side of her body, literally from head to toe. I was scared, she was scared and so the tests began. It was mind boggling what would be going on and put a bit of fear in us at the same time, you see my sister is my only sibling and while we had our ups and downs growing up, we are really close adults. Finally, after a few tests were completed it was deemed that my sister has MS. We found out that pregnancy can make MS symptoms flare up, this means my sister has to realize that she may not have any more children for it could really mess up her body with this MS diagnosis. Apparently my sister getting pregnant and having her child made the MS flare up, something she didn’t even know she had, and now she has to test out medications to try to lead a life of some normalcy and raise her beautiful girl. We both are not educated in the area of MS, but sharing this post to help spread the news that Edible Arrangements has partnered up with the National MS Society to raise funding for MS research warms my heart. Maybe it can help more families be aware of what MS is and find more research to assist those living with MS.

This is not the first year that Edible Arrangements has partnered with The National MS Society to raise funds, in the past three years they have donated nearly $33,000 to fund the MS Research and Raise Awareness. Mind you, the locations are in NH, MA and RI that are taking part in this particular cause.

Edible Arrangements Support for MS in March and Giveaway

I get to order an Orange Blossom Edible Arrangements for my eating pleasure this month but it’s not only for my own pleasure, it’s also in support of the current fundraiser during the month of March for MS. Edible Arrangements is donating $5 from each sale of the Orange Blossom purchases to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Greater New England Chapter and I am here to help spread the word!

Orange Blossom

The $5 donated to MS goes for all purchases of  the Orange Blossom from March 1st to March 31st, however, delivery for this arrangement can be set for any date in 2013. This means if you want to purchase the Orange Blossom arrangement to help raise more funds for MS, you can purchase in March but set the delivery date for later in 2013 during the special event you wish to have this delivered for! You can learn more about the Fight Against MS by reading the Edible Arrangements Press Release too.

MS interrupts the flow of information between the brain and body and can stop people from moving forward in their lives. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, but teenagers and young children get MS too.

As a way to help support this fundraiser and spread more awareness of MS and Edible Arrangements Fundraiser for MS, I am hosting a giveaway for a $50 gift card to Edible Arrangements. You may use this gift card towards any purchase but it would be wonderful if you use it towards the Orange Blossom Arrangement to help raise more funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Giveaway starts now and ends at 12am EST on March 18, 2013.  Giveaway is open to the US. Winner will be announced live on site and have 48 hours to claim prize, they will also be emailed directly. If prize not claimed within 48 hours another person shall be chosen at random.

Using the Rafflecopter form below is easy; use name/email to log in or Facebook for login. Rafflecopter will not use your email or access for anything other than giving me a way to contact you should you be the randomly chosen winner! Winner will have 48 hours to claim prize or another person will be randomly selected.
