Cherish Every Breath You Have

I have this habit of observing people. I don’t mean to do it, I simply happen to be a person who listens well, watches closely and takes in every moment with any person I come into contact with in person or virtually. It doesn’t take long to realize who is a positive, kind person and who is a miserable, not-so-kind person. I’ve been through a storm of crap in my life; I could go on and on with all of the bad stuff that has happened to me. I don’t.

I feel that, to dwell in the bad things that happened will only cause more bad things to happen. I firmly believe that if we focus and remember those happy moments and the pieces of our life that are worth living for that we will be positive, kind people.

I don’t have much patience when it comes to adults. I tolerate adults minimally because I watch as many complain day in and day out or worse, they can only mention and think about all of the bad that has happened to them. Their response, when I attempt to direct them to a happier place is that I haven’t been through what they have been through. This is correct. No two people have walked the same path in their life, touche!

There is a little secret about life that I want to let you in on though; every single person in this world has had a storm of bad things happen to them, some worse than others, but somehow some way there are those people who push forward and beyond those bad times while there are others who feel those bad things give them a right to be miserable forever.

Be happy to be alive. Inspirational words from Brandy Ellen!

To me, life is far too short to remember and think about all of the bad that has happened. If you think only of the bad things then you are pushing your heart to turn black, stone cold. I personally prefer to be happy. I want to enjoy my life for as long as I can breath! If I am breathing and awake every day, then that’s a day worth living.

I challenge you all to this – do not allow others to bring you down in their misery, after all misery loves company. Lift above the bad that has happened, rise beyond the darkest moments in your past and LIVE. Live life to the fullest, cherish every breath you have, hug your loved ones, show kindness to fellow human beings. I guarantee you that once you start to cherish the life you have, that great things will start happening. Don’t give up if good things don’t come right away, after all, they say good things are worth waiting for. Keep chugging ahead and waiting for those good things all the while being happy; happy that you are alive!

Do not take life for granted, those bad things don’t have to break you unless you allow them to!

Laughter is Good for the Soul – Quotes About Laughter

Even if there is nothing to laugh about, laugh on credit.  ~Author Unknown

The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.  ~e.e. cummings

Laughter is an instant vacation.  ~Milton Berle

Need a Good Laugh? Check out Funny Pictures

I enjoy laughing and I enjoy smiling, which means sometimes I am online searching for sites that offer funny pictures and images so that I can laugh, giggle or just plain think “what in the heck” to.

All that I know is that laughter is a great medicinal tool for many. If you smile and laugh more then your lips tend to have a upward turn more often than that downward frown look. When I spend my time smiling and getting a good laugh in as often as possible through out my day, I notice that driving down the road listening to my kids bicker in the back I am smiling, over nothing. Just a smile can brighten a persons day.

I am thankful to have websites that offer cute and funny images to entertain me, because without that I wouldn’t be able to make it through the day. Being an optimistic person means trying to find humor in every day life and making sure that you smile as often as possible.

For me, my father makes me laugh. I know that if I am having a bad day I can stop by and visit Dad for a few. My father is great at making me laugh, unless he is having a bad day too, but he is my laughter and I am thankful to have support both online and in person to make me laugh and smile more.

Smiles and laughter keep me sane!

Old Post, But Who is Your Funny?

Since I am going to be at Type-A Parent Conference and of course have to plan that trip and such I decided now would be the time to bring up some of my really old blog posts. I am talking from 2008-2009 era, I hope you enjoy and if you were not a subscriber back then well you will get some new content topics to comment on! Happy Reading!

I want to be real funny….

You know that kind of funny where everyone reads it and dies laughing? Well the only funny I get is that late night funny while working and attempting to keep myself and my friends motivated in working. Mainly I am thinking of a situation when I mooned MommaDJane … virtually that is via Skype. Totally cool that you can do that.

Anyways … I want to be that kind of funny that isn’t meant to be funny. That sacrastic comment, that stupid moment that makes everyone laugh, that goofy character that can make everyone laugh. The problem is .. I am really just not funny, I am ditsy and yes people there is a difference.

I can make people laugh at my ditsy behavior because they are laughing at me, not with me. I am not really a funny person, simply put I am a realistic, sarcastic brat … that’s all.

So who is your funny? Who is that person who can always make you laugh so hard you are crying? For me? I think it is a tie between my father and my sister.
