Flashlight Friends – Lighting the Way for Children at Night #flashlightfriends #ffpenquin

Flashlight Friends are huggable flashlights for children that shut off around 10 minutes. This is an auto shut off that happens all on it’s own. No more worrying about going in to shut off a lamp or night light for that child who needs a little extra light to fall asleep. My five year old son is so addicted to his Flashlight Friend -Penguin. There are multiple huggable Flashlight Friends for your children; Dragon, Puppy and Unicorn are the other options aside from the Penguin we received. These are great for the holiday gift giving season and are rated for […]

New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine Bloggers

I am on a search for bloggy friends, no I don’t already have enough. With over 7,000 followers on Twitter and who knows how many friends on Facebook I am finding the challenge is finding local bloggy friends.  I am a social queen, I love chatting on Twitter as @brandyellen and networking on any site you put me on, but it’s not the same as meeting in real life. As my blog grows a larger readership and my connections grow stronger, I find myself yearning for local friendships. Do not get me wrong, I have a couple local Mom friends […]

Featured Review: Honest Baby Tee Shirt

I was grateful to receive an Honest Baby tee shirt for Baby K. I have some video coverage of him wearing his cute shirt that says “I’m My Mom’s Job”, which I hope you will watch later on in this post. Honest Baby tee’s are just so cute and oh so true! There is one that says “Not sleeping through the night” and yes that would have been perfect for AJ when he was a baby. That boy never slept and still rarely does (we are working on figuring out why with a lot of testing), anyways, I just love […]

Social Media Maven at Hot Momma’s Project

I was very honored this past week to become the Social Media Maven for the Hot Momma’s Project. @chiefhotmomma interviewed me LIVE on Twitter, you can see my interview if you look up #BeAnIntern on Twitter or Tweetchat, or better yet click here to read the live event without much effort other than entering your Twitter username and password. I decided to send my resume to @chiefhotmomma after she responded to me, of course at first she saw I was a virtual assistant and assumed I meant I would like to find an intern as well, but nope that was […]

Looking to Downgrade my WP

I upgraded my WordPress using automatic upgrade to WordPress 2.8 and now I fear I have no tool bar under Visual so I can not do any spell checks, formatting or other similar tasks I enjoyed doing in my posts prior to making them live on my blog. Has anyone upgraded to WordPress 2.8 and have similar problems? I see a file that is called wpau-backup in my server area – would anyone know if this is the files I backed up prior to upgrading? I do not wish to downgrade if I will lose my data .. but I […]

Why Moms Matter Blog Talk Radio

I am sure some of you have heard me talk or tweet about Why Moms Matter. I love this blog talk radio show where Moms get nominated for being extraordinary. The extraordinary is not something out of the ordinary, but what Moms naturally do to raise their children. Being extraordinary doesn’t mean you are perfect, it doesn’t mean that you do not yell, it just means you are doing your all to raise your children with the morals and respect you wish to instill in them. You are doing your all to be extraordinary.  In my opinion a mother’s love […]
