Newsflash: It’s Easy to Do things as a Family

My family is a real connected family. I have this strong family unity bond that enables me to, without question, put my family before anything else in the whole entire world. I work around my family, it doesn’t work around my work. I always have and always will place my child’s needs before my own. This is why we are such a close knit, happy bunch of people. We all know and feel loved, no matter what. I am here to share a few simple ways to spend time with your family, without spending any money. These simple things done […]

Today I Turn 32 Years Old

Today is my birthday and I’ll cry if I wanna. I’ll dance if I wanna. I’ll embarrass you if I wanna. I’ll sleep if I wanna. Today I turn the big ole 32 years of age… and I couldn’t be happier to be another year older Each year I learn more about who I am, what I love and what it is in this world that makes me “tick”. I welcome the 32nd year of my life with open arms. Happy Birthday to ME.

Teen Beach Movie

My daughter was so excited to have Disney Teen Beach Movie arrive on our doorstep for review. She has watched this movie a couple of times now and loves that the DVD came with a free Surfboard zipper pull {which she wore on her backpack to school today}. The thing of the matter is, this review was suppose to be shared a while back, but I am delayed due to the fact that this was delivered to the wrong house. Lovely, right? Joys of moving to new house and having house number not seen by the delivery people some times. […]

Get Moving with Wii – Just Dance 4 from Ubisoft

I am excited to share with you all one of the few ways my kids and I work out, well it’s more like having fun with our Wii. Believe it or not, during our fun sessions on the Wii with Just Dance 4 and the title I previously purchased at a store, Just Dance 2, we work up a sweat! I laugh when my daughter is all like “Man Mama this is a work out” and I have to reply “duh, what do you think moving your arms, legs and body is?” .. then I get the eye roll. It’s […]

Boys Just Wanna Have Fun

These two boys of mine will have fun in the easiest of places. For example, they are pictured here in the middle of the woods checking out a little path way under the ground. They danced and had a blast, can’t you just feel the fun they are having?   I really enjoyed the darker photos of them, it’s as if we are viewing their shadows. Enjoy your day everyone, make it a great one!

Mister K Shows How to Dance & Get on Swing in Photos

Up until this weekend I did not realize that my camera, given to me by my Dad, had a movie option. Friday while at the Fort at No 4 I was standing around, waiting for the classroom kids to get out for lunch while Mister K ran wild on the grounds when I looked down to see a video recording option on this camera! Anyways, the point is this, I only knew I had a camera so I have been doing “action” shots with camera instead of a video recorder for two reasons; I didn’t think I had a video […]

Fijit Friends™ Newbies™ Figure Assortment

I first heard about Fijit Friends from my daughter, who begged and pleaded for one. Then last Christmas she received a pink Fijit Friend from my Dad and Step Mom. Once we had a Fijit Friend, the news was out about Fijit Friends Newbies, as you can see we have two Fijit Friends. They sing, they “talk” and they are adorable. Yes the purple Fijit Friend you see to the left in this photo, is all mine, not my daughters. I am in love with this silly things! Now every girl’s interactive best friend, Fijit Friends™ has an adorable pint-size […]

My Belly Is Trouble Spot with Fitness

It seems no matter what I do, my belly area seems to be the trouble spot for me. I can lose inches in the arms and legs but the belly likes to hang around. When I stop my exercise routine, the belly is what always comes back first. Stress and worries keep my belly bloating up whenever my fitness routine is avoided. I am asked often about ways to lose the weight and ways to exercise while having children running around. I always tell people just make it part of your daily routine but I am guilty of not making […]

Oh Shoes, How I Love Thee

I have big feet, a size 9, but my little sister has bigger feet and so I feel not so big footed any more. I had an aunt who used to tell me I was going to be a model someday because I had the perfect feet … or big feet or something like that. I never went into modeling, thought about it, thought about a lot of things, but that’s okay … I am still in love with shoes and happy to be in the life I live today. So what about old gringo shoes or shall I say […]

Dora The Explorer: Dora’s Ballet Adventures DVD

Dora The Explorer: Dora’s Ballet Adventures hit stores on February 20, 2011 and was packed full of Dora fun! My children received this DVD for review and have enjoyed watching all of the episodes together as a family. Included Episodes: Dora’s Ballet Adventure Dora’s dance class is getting ready for a special dance recital and her whole family’s there to watch her perform. They just need to wait for the Delivery Duck to deliver their ballet slippers. But the Delivery Duck brings scuba flippers instead of ballet slippers!
