Dulce de Leche Cheerios Review and Giveaway

I recently tested out a new version of Cheerios, our family favorite has always been original Cheerios, so it was nice to test out the Dulce de Leche Cheerios flavor. The Dulce de Leche is traditionally incorporated in Latin American inspired desserts, and you can now get a hint in the newest variety of Cheerios. The only thing that comes to mind when tasting this new line of Cheerios is; caramel. For some reason this tastes like caramel to me and my kids really want to try this out in popcorn type balls. The perfect sticky, messy treat to use […]

Love Conquers All

A mother wakes up to the sound of an alarm clock going beep beep beep at 6:47 in the morning.  This mothers eyes try to focus and she covers her ears because the beep beep beep sound is followed by boys downstairs yelling “mama” over and over again. This morning this mother simply doesn’t want to get out of the warmth surrounding her under the covers of her sleep number bed. This mother simply wants to stay in bed one more minute, but duty calls and she slowly climbs out of bed with her bare-feet hitting the cold hardwood floor, […]

Cheerios: Quality Time While Nourishing the Body and Mind of my Children

Quality time with my children is very important but also just as important is making sure I am nourishing their mind and body while we enjoy this time together. Here at my house I am not big on offering sweets for snacks but we do enjoy a good healthy treat such as Cheerios or similar for snack.  It’s great that my children are still at the ages of 8, 4 and 2 without knowing too much about sugary treats. One thing my children and I now like to do together is to go outside and enjoy our new backyard watching […]

Now we have Baby K to deal with, he has become my night time buddy. One night Baby K would not sleep, this was due to a late afternoon nap which […]

General Mills Family

I am a huge fan of General Mills cereals, I love their Rice Chex and my kids love the Frosted Cheerios. I recently received coupons to try a few boxes of General Mills cereals from My Blog Spark, but I already knew just how much my family loves General Mills. Cheerios 100,000 Book Giveaway

Did you know that over 80% of childcare centers serving low income families lack age appropriate books? A recent study also showed that the ratio of books per child in middle income neighborhoods is 13 to 1, while low income is 1 age appropriate book per 300 children. It’s a sad truth and the Cheerios family of cereals along with First Book and Jon Scieszka, author of the popular “Trucktown” series and other children’s books, have joined together to deliver 100,000 books to community-based programs serving children in need.

Review: Pop Art Toaster Creativity Coloring Kit

A few weeks ago I was offered a chance to review the pop art toaster creativity kit and I was very excited to accept! As my oldest patiently awaited the arrival of our sample product, we visited the Pop Art Toaster Store and learned more about the product, stencils and discussed what stencils she hoped we received, how she was going to help her little brother AJ with his stencils, etc etc! The day came and our pop art toaster creativity kit arrived!! The kids were so super excited, we opened up the kit and I even created a video […]
