Post Great Grains Cereal Bar Snack Recipe

My kids love when I make rice crispy treats at home. Just recently I realized that I had some boxes of Post Great Grains cereals that were sent to me from a rep.  Whatever was I going to do with these cereals, sure we could eat them with milk for breakfast, or we could do something different with them. That’s when it dawned on me … let’s create Post Great Grains Cereal Bar Snacks! Ingredients: 3 Tablespoons of Butter One 10.5 oz bag of Mini Marshmallows 5 Cups Post Great Grains Digestive Blend Vanilla Graham Cereal 1 Cup Post Great […]

Motherly Advice from Post Grains Cereal Survey

Information I am about to share comes from the Post Great Grains Cereal Survey that was conducted by Wakefield Research among 1,000 nationally representative women ages 40+, between January 24th and January 31st, 2014, using an email invitation and an online survey. There are very few survey results that hit my inbox and make me say, “yes I must share that”. The line that grabbed me with the survey completed by Post Grains Cereal was this; 1 in 3 women believe the most important lesson about womanhood a mother can give is “Don’t let a man dictate your decisions,” followed […]

Post Launches Sesame Street Cereal – A is for Apple

Today I am sharing with you a fun cereal for little ones recently launched by Post. In all honesty my big kids have even taken this cereal along to school in a sandwich bag for snack, so it’s great for big kids too. B is for Banana and C is for cereal, two perfectly delicious cereal options for your little ones that also have a fun, colorful box to encourage your little ones interest in eating such cereal. Post really nailed their art for this cereal box, even I am drawn to it in the stores. As a way to […]

This flavor of mango and coconut is simply delicious; my kids truly love to munch on this cereal for snack time too.  With so many other flavor selections to […]

Dulce de Leche Cheerios Review and Giveaway

I recently tested out a new version of Cheerios, our family favorite has always been original Cheerios, so it was nice to test out the Dulce de Leche Cheerios flavor. The Dulce de Leche is traditionally incorporated in Latin American inspired desserts, and you can now get a hint in the newest variety of Cheerios. The only thing that comes to mind when tasting this new line of Cheerios is; caramel. For some reason this tastes like caramel to me and my kids really want to try this out in popcorn type balls. The perfect sticky, messy treat to use […]

My Night Time Buddy

Every night it’s a battle to get the kids to sleep, you see when AJ was born he wasn’t always a great sleeper and finally about age four he has started to be a bit better about sleeping. I still for some reason find a little four year old in my bed come morning time but he is getting better about sleeping through the night for the most part. Now we have Baby K to deal with, he has become my night time buddy. One night Baby K would not sleep, this was due to a late afternoon nap which […]

General Mills Family

I am a huge fan of General Mills cereals, I love their Rice Chex and my kids love the Frosted Cheerios. I recently received coupons to try a few boxes of General Mills cereals from My Blog Spark, but I already knew just how much my family loves General Mills. Some facts about General Mills ready to eat cereals: Ready-to-eat cereals, including presweetened cereals, account for only 5% of sugar in children’s diets. Ready-to-eat cereal is the No. 1 source of whole grains in a child’s diet today. More frequent cereal eaters tend to have healthier body weights and lower […]
