Buying a Grill Online Couldn’t Be Easier

One of the best times to buy a grill is during the tax free time, when many online merchants offer specials that make your dollar go a lot longer. But when you’re buying a grill, it’s a good idea to take your time and do your research. Sales tax break or not, it’s a big ticket purchase and you’re going to want to make the best choice. Decide Which Type of Grill One of the first decisions you need to make is figuring out which grill is best for you. A charcoal grill gives food a distinctive smoked flavor and […]

Bring the BBQ Inside if Weather Doesn’t Permit

I didn’t really have any huge plans for this weekend other than attempting to have a BBQ at my Dad’s at some point with my boyfriend, my sister and her baby girl. Today was the day for that but the weather was not allowing for a BBQ and so we headed out to pick up the sister and my niece for a warm cooked meal. And boy did Dad cook, I wouldn’t expect anything less. A meal for many King’s was provided and I barely ate one hotdog, macaroni salad and potato salad along with a couple pickles and drank […]

Always Focus on What you Have and What you Deserve

Happy Friday everyone! We are heading into a holiday weekend, it’s Memorial Day weekend. A three day weekend here but my children will be off having a blast with their Dad’s. I get to enjoy a nice BBQ with my Dad, the boyfriend, my sister and her baby girl this weekend at some point.   In the meantime I will be packing boxes, labeling them and tossing out stuff into a free pile, but all the while having a blast! Enjoy the weekend and always be thankful for what you DO have in life! <3

A Lovely Weekend Has Come to an End

Yesterday was a wonderful day, my little sis got all married up. Friday night we had a barbeque at a friends house and then Saturday evening my sister got married, which meant another BBQ. Good times were had and today is the day to recoup from a long weekend of fun times. I wanted to take a moment to share with you all a picture of my sister and her new hubby with our long time friend Athena, and the groom’s long time friend Mike. The event was lovely. Full of laughter and cheer! Family was there to watch as […]

Living in a Small Town Too Long

I am a small town gal, really I would go nuts living in the city, probably die of a panic attack, but there is something about living in a small town too long. I have lived in the same darn town since I was five years old. My mother still lives in the house that her & my father bought when I was just five years old. Although I have been informed my Mom will be selling this property & moving out of town which saddens me to my core. I feel like that house and the land it lies […]

As I keep moving forward in the Nutrisystem program as well as my exercising program I wonder, what will happen when BBQ season starts, which sort of already has here in NH with the 90 degree weather and what happens when the alcohol and food is all over the place at get togethers that I am able to go kid free to? Well, I am lucky … I have support! Yes, that’s right, SUPPORT! I received some tips from the PR contact for Nutrisystem on how to overcome the BBQ season and succeed in keeping the weight & inches I […]

Own a House but Not a Grill

For me it has always been a bummer each and every Summer when I wish to cook outside because I don’t own a grill yet I own a home. To me a grill much like a Camp chef outdoor camp oven would make sense for me. We did have one Summer or two with a grill that was charcoal weber type of grill and it worked great until we left it out for the Winter. I am not a big fan of charcoal cooked food, but it works for a quick family night meal while the kids are playing and […]

Enjoying a Bit of Chili’s

I went out to dinner at Chili’s in West Lebanon, NH with my sister one Sunday a month or two back and have yet to share my experience with you all. This is a review as well as an informative post about Chili’s and their Shout Out to Eat Out promotion. First let me tell you that I love, just love the hot wings at Chili’s and always have ever since I was pregnant with my first born who is almost 8 years old. It seems I first got my liking of spicy and hot foods during that first pregnancy […]
